Ponder for a moment the chapter of your life in college…

Do you think of friends?  Fun adventures?  How even though you felt really, really busy; you still managed to capitalize on opportunities that mattered to you most!  Do you remember the agony of decision making?  Can you go back to moments of wrestling for answers about life’s major choices and, for bad or good, coming to decisions about what to believe, how to live, what to do?  Do you remember how big those choices felt and how difficult it was to make some of them knowing that they would shape the person you would be moving forward?  What is the most pivitol decision you made during those years that has set the trajectory you are on today–2, 5, 10, 20, 50 or more years down the road?

Perhaps it was a decision

regarding a career path: selecting majors—changing majors, graduate schools, internships, choosing employers, locating in cities.

about your lifestyle: discovering ourselves and our true identity, choosing which influential voices to listen to and follow; entertainment choices, goals, values, and convictions over parties, sex, drinking, drug use and more.

with relationships in your life: friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, parents, marriage, decisions about living together and learning to navigate conflicts throughout

about God:  The vast majority of us who choose to follow Christ did so before the age of 21. This was the time when we decided for ourselves what we believed, if we would embrace the faith of our parents, embrace a lack of faith, or find a new faith altogether. If you are reading this right now, chances are, your college years included moments where your heart was ripe for experiencing the life-changing power of the gospel!

Because critical moments continue to happen today, Cru is present and working alongside people on the campuses of the Greater Twin Ports and around the world.  It is the time of profound spiritual decision-making. It is the pivotal season when many decide to follow Christ or drift away, which in turn effects the decisions they make for the rest of their lives.

As you reflect on God’s hand in your life during your years, would you consider locking arms with Greater Twin Ports Cru to ensure that the current generation on campus has a community of people connecting them to Jesus?  Just as there were those who made it possible for Cru to journey with you in your years, we now invite you to join us in new ways of impacting the campus.

Below are easy ways for you to make a mark on the campus you left behind as a Greater Twin Ports Cru Alum.  God Bless you as you join us in mobilizing the next generation from the campus to the world for Christ!
